DO's & DON'T's of Floating....
-
Ensure to allow yourself at least 90 minutes to fully enjoy and appreciate your float session.
-
Avoid shaving for 10-12 hours (ladies) and 5-8 hours (men) before floating to avoid any stinging sensations.
-
Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine and alcohol before your float session, otherwise you may find it difficult to fully relax and appreciate the benefits.
-
Avoid eating any big meals before your float session. We recommend you eat a light meal a couple of hours before you arrive.
-
For the most benefit, you’re best not wearing a swimsuit when floating, as this will prevent you from fully experiencing the sensation of weightlessness. Floating in your 'birthday suit' is recommended.
-
If you wear contact lenses, you will need to remove them prior to floating. Don’t forget to bring a case/solution to keep them safe whilst you float.
-
We suggest you refrain from any extreme sun tanning prior to floating. If you have recently applied fake tan, please wait at least a week before floating.
-
It’s best to avoid putting any hair products and/or make-up on prior to attending your appointment with us, as you’ll only have to wash it off before you float!
-
Avoid floating with any fresh tattoos, it’s recommended to wait at least 10 days.
-
Refrain from colouring your hair or using semi-permanent hair dyes for at least a week before your float session.
-
Ladies, if you are menstruating on your scheduled appointment date we ask that you reschedule.
-
Be aware that any physical activity prior to your float session will enhance your overall experience to heal and relax.
-
Rest assured that we have all the floating essential covered, all you need to bring with you is an open mind and leave it all to the experience!
